What is a master's level counseling intern?
A master's level counseling intern is someone who is in their last year of training in their counseling master's program. They have completed all or most of their course work, and have experience working as a therapist in the community.
An intern is supervised by a licensed clinician. They have years of experience who oversee their work in the practice. This helps them offer the best treatment to their clients. Interns are in touch with the leading edge of research in the industry and bring the latest treatment options to therapy.

Hello! I'm currently an Intern, working towards my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. My approach to therapy is person-centered. I believe in and hope to support you as an individual first and foremost.
In my free time you'll find me in the kitchen (feeding people is my love language!). I also love long walks in the sun, a rousing game of chess, and travel adventures to just about anywhere. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona but have lived in Colorado longer than anywhere else, so this is home!
